Especially if you plan on installing the pks system in a production environment.

You MUST have the sharepoint podcasting system already installed inorder to use this project. It will do nothing for you unless you already have the podcasting system installed. Also there is no user interface associated with the project it simply reencodes the video in the background when the user uploads it, the look and feel of the podcasting system remains totally unchanged. However uploads of files other than .wmv take much longer than they normally would because the reencoding process is taking place. Make sure that you read the readme included in the release for the June PKS system before attempting to use it.
